| Mrs. Alice Wigfield, who is in her 34th year of teaching, began the Holly Grove music dept. eight years ago. It now has a 62-voice auditioned High School Honors Choir, a 53-voice auditioned Junior High choir and a 120-voice Youth Choir (grades 4-6). Alice Wigfield is the Director of the Children's Choir in the MAGI Choral Festival. Over 150 Holly Grove Christian School students will be involved in this annual community program which has raised over $1,000,000 for the homeless in our region. |
| The entire music department combines to perform a Christmas concert followed by a musical drama each year at the Univ. of MD Ella Fitzgerald Auditorium. Each year this program is televised on Comcast many times during the Christmas Holidays in over 400,000 homes. |
